This is a painting by my father-in-law who is 86 going on 30. He still does his gardening and loves to cook especially with a little red wine incentive. One for me- one for the pot. I have three of his paintings to post here on RB. He knows nothing at all about what I am doing but if he gets some encouragement hopefully it will keep him painting. His name is Peter Jackson Hay.

More encouragement from this discerning quarter. This is a pretty scene indeed, & the treatment of the trees is very good.
