Up the River, Glen Canyon looking North
D200 with 17-55 f2.8,
shot at f18 at 1/60th of a second at 17mm.
On the way home to the Valley of the Sun we drove down towards Lee’s Ferry. It being noonish I did not expect to get the camera out much as light is bad anywhere at that time, particularly in the desert. The land was blessed with some great clouds giving depth and contrast to the day and I was able to get some nice shots. This is hand held which is unusual for me… obviously not enough coffee at 1/60, I usually have a bit of a vibration going by noon!
