What amazes me about your work is how you capture the “personality” of these animals. I have photographed mallards for years and this is about as good as it gets when capturing a “photo” image using alternative media. I have seen that catch light many many times before, but through the lens of a camera.

Thank You Vicky, snow is a bit of a challenge to paint and I must admit there are a few layers here as I wasn’t happy with the snow to begin with and almost gave up, I found it terribly problematic, this painting almost ended up in the trash.
