Wendy Eriksson has spent over 15 years studying and painting in a variety of mediums including china painting, folk art, water colour, abstract design and acrylics. She studied two dimensional design, colour and composition at Curtin University.
Now, after many years of owning her own graphic design business, she paints full time and is constantly exploring and experimenting with the way she paints and how she approaches her subjects. Her most recent passion is working with collage.
Wendy uses plenty of texture and bold bright colours in her pieces with a style which has often been described as bright, light and free with a sense of fun! She is a very eclectic individual and works very fast and spontaneously. Her subject matter often includes sealife and flowers which are motivated by her love of the ocean and the environment around her.
