Confirmed Petrol Head first and foremost, who happens to enjoy photography as a hobby.
I was bitten by the motor sport bug at a young age and prefer long distance sports car racing over single seaters. I also love the passion and enthusiasm of the owners and drivers of historic race cars and find this form of motorsport, as well as rallying, the most spectacular because of the lower grip levels and loose style of driving employed.

Very classy racer! That gold really stands out!

  • Some people I know (the female of the species) follow this car for no other reason than the colour scheme. Thanks for the look and comment Bill.

I noticed that you use the classic “Bigma” lens from Sigma!! That lens is quite large and heavy but offers magnificent image quality. More kudos for being the master of this lens.

  • Thanks for that compliment! Probably not deserved. The lens is unbeatable at the price, in my opinion. I’d be absolutely lost without a monopod which is an essential component. Lots and lots of practice and putting up with days like the Saturday qualifying day when nothing I did turned out right (except during the classic race later in the day).
