endangered
I was trying to suggest an ancient feel, like fossils, to represent the tiger ( which is endangred) as a lost species like the dinosaur.
acrylic on canvas

sorry my friend but not so as the indian government has for years been fallsifying figures being released as to the populeation of each so called sanctuary one indian wildlife expert who was working for them and was well renowned throughout the world was firstly ignored by the government then fallsy disgredited when it finnally hit the fan it was discovered that they are right on the edge of extingtion yet again there was in fact one sanctuary with government armned troops boasting of having plenty of tigers when in fact it was found on survay not to have onr tiger left as they had all been poached and now for some strange reason in tibet with the relaxation of conmunism in chinna that the locals indians have new found wealth and express this not in cars or cloths but in tiger skins paws in fact any part of the tiger is seen a status symbol so your painting may be more proohetic than you realise

Madviad is so right. Sad that these great great creatures are on their way out. Yes, you seem to not only have fossilized him, but moreover petrified him, as in petrified wood. At least he is a part of that. Thanks William.

It will be a sad day wont it? The most beautiful creature ever designed. Hopefully we never see this day.

It’s pretty sad isn’t it? Fortunitly we have tigers in captivity. If necessary maybe we can reintroduce them to the wild. If the enviroment at that time is safe for them.
Maybe we can put them in yellow stone. That would be cool. It wouldn’t be cool for the wolves though. I suppose

Reminds me of the poem “Tyger,Tyger,Burning Bright” (by W.Blake) Very dramatic!

I’ve never read that poem. I’ll check it out.
