William, like your other owl painting-this one just stopped me in my tracks too.You have such an ability to set this mood of a resting time/place-in your work. This stillness is so alive! I can almost feel the softness of the feathers. It is hard to articulate all that this makes me feel. I will end with saying that is moved me deeply! Ok, one more thing-is that an eye with tears in the woodwork?
