For all the comments - Thank You!

It’s amazing how everything happens when you head into the scrub for a week. Without any contact with the outside world I had no idea that my Geometry print had been featured on the homepage which resulted in a huge number of comments, fav’s and whatchlist additions. To reply to all of them would see me here for the next few da…

Whooooop

It’s amazing how things can happen so quickly and all in one go.

It’s been probably 5 or 6 months since I’ve seen any revenue on the photography front, but just in the last few days I’ve made two sales (thankyou to those who bought a matted print and poster of mine!) and have some prospective commercial work in the next few weeks.

How things can turn around!

Some news...

Posted 8 months ago

As some of you may have already heard through other streams, the better half and I are now engaged!

It’s a weird feeling, although after 7 years together it doesn’t change too much, but I guess it finally makes it ‘official’ which is nice.

Anyway, thought I’d let you all know…

Cheers,
Will

Some big changes...

Posted about 1 year ago

Well as some of you may have known already, in the New Year I, with my lovely girlfriend (of almost seven years eek!) will be moving to Junee in the Riverina region of NSW.

I’ll be taking up an engineering position with the local Council, and I can not wait to get back out to the country, where I think we belong. It’ll be shame to miss events with the friends I’ve made on here and I’ll miss …

A few things...

Posted about 1 year ago

Firstly I’d like to thank everyone who voted for my image “Where the wild ones are” for the Blue Mountains Group avatar. I am honoured to have had my image voted in for the avatar.

Secondly today was a day of very mixed emotions for me and many others.

As many of you will know doubt have read in the past few weeks, a young man named Tom Carr-Boyd was killed in an avalanche near Blue Lake…

Blue Mountains Meetup

Posted about 1 year ago

Hi all,

Well rather than individually reply to every post I though I’d write up a new journal entry.

For those requesting a different weeked, unfortunately I won’t be around the weekend before or quite a few of the ones following; so it’s either now or never – well not never

For the time being I’ll make it the 15th (the Saturday) which leaves me to do my uni work – like the good boy …

Blue Mountains meet up

Posted about 1 year ago

Hi all,

I am entertaining the idea of having a day (could be two depending on work and uni) for RB’ers in the Mountains on either the 15th or 16th of March.

The day would probably entail visiting the local and lesser known lookouts and the more easy to get to cascades/waterfalls of the upper and mid-mountains.

Transport could be a tad of a challenge, I could fit 4 at a squeeze, but if…

Entry for Melinda Kerr's comp.

Posted over 2 years ago

For me, this photo has always been a favourite. Taken in Palm Beach, Sydney it has isolated the three fundamental elements of our world: the sky, the sea and the land. Since the ancient worlds of our past, these three elements have ruled us, governed our lives, and at the same time nourished and nurtured our ancestors which has in turn allowed us to become the people we are today. But it could …
