Young Basset Hound
Digital Art: In Photoshop, I select a blank “canvas”, then select a brush and start painting with my mouse. All my work is done from “scratch” I hope you will like this adorable hound. Again I tried to capture that special look in their eyes.

Can’t go past a good bassett hound! Is he entirely from imagination or photo or personable pet? You said from scratch, so I suppose that makes it imagination – if so, you must have an exceptional eye. Nice texture – melting hot, he’s one hot dog!

From scratch ( in the US) really means drawing with only the help of your pencils, brushes etc.But, before I start I take a huge dose of patience. No, my work is done from scratch, from beginning to end. Instead of using real “paint brushes” and real “canvas”, I draw/paint with my mouse, using Photoshop Elements program, starting with a blank “canvas.’ Sometimes my patience runs out and I need to relent for a while. ;) The mouse is not always cooperative!
