I do love mountains too. This is Mount McKinley. At the bottom is the “tundra.” There is an abundance of wildife there including, bears. grizzlies, moose, deer etc., and a huge variety of waterfowl. It’s truly what I call God’s country and totally wild.
The beauty of Alaska is truly unending. It’s one of my favorite places.

How kind of you to say so. I love Photoshop and I am certificated. Adobe Photoshop is the only software I use. It’s superb and allows me to conrol my brushes pretty well. I have done a lot of digital illustrations and many have been published. Glad to meet another professional who uses that program as well. :)Thank you for viewing my work.

Thanks! I used to spend huge amount of money on Winsor & Newton oil paints and brushes. Not to mention the price of canvas and frames. Now. all I need is my computer, Photoshop and I am ready to go anywhere. :) I enjoyed your wonderful work too. Keep it coming.

Alaska is true God’s country.There are only two ways to travel long distance, by air or boats. Snow mobiles and dogs are now used by villagers, remote and otherwise. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I appreciate it.

My pleasure and so well deserved. Your work is superb and I am so glad I came across your portfolio. I agree with you, the talent, here, is truly humbling. Sometimes, I think that my patience is going, but then I relent for a while and come back to the tedious, slow process of drawing with my mouse. As I have mentioned before, I am saving for a Wacom graphic tablet (pricey) to make it a bit easier to do my illustrations.Thank you for the kind and generous comment.It’s appreciated.

Lots of fun, yes! I don’t use a graphic tablet either only my mouse. I know what you mean and I find using my mouse a complete challenge. Tedious, no doubt , and as you very well know, patience must not be lacking. :)

Many thanks jayview. My photoshop Elements is an old version 2.0. I need to upgrade as it doesn’t have half the features of the newer version. I think that a person need to know how to draw, paint etc. to start with and… a lot of patience. Try what I do: open a blank canvas, select a brush to paint with and do anything you have a mind to do. Use the eraser. It comes in handy (and I use it a lot). :)
