Basket Weaver
Digital Art: Entirely done with the computer mouse.
Elderly Native American woman weaving a traditional basket.
Note: All my digital art work is executed entirely with my mouse and Photoshop Elements’ brushes. It takes hours of concentration, patience and self control. Especially when the mouse wants to go right and you need it to go left!
When this happens , I reluctantly leave my office and go for a stroll in my garden.
That usually takes care of the problem and then, I get back to work :)
Basket Weaver belongs to the following groups:
DaDa Land, Elderly , Pencil Drawing (2 per 24 hrs), PixElations - The Art of Photoshop, Safe Haven, Spirit of the Native American and The Wild West Show Available for sale asGreeting Cards

Awesome….I love what you did to this!!!!
Wildwings
That was not easy! Hours of “mouse “control and sore wrist. Thank you for the kind words.

this is a fine piece of art…you did an awesome job…amazing that you did this with the mouse….i say bravo..
Wildwings
You are so kind. It took several hours. Well…to tell you the truth my wrist got tired so many times that I almost quit! But I love a challenge and would not give up. Drawing youth is so much easier than a wrinkled face with so much to tell.

well worth it, mine runs around this computer more like a cat than a mouse, could never do anything even close to this, again fantastic work

This is amazing. My heart leapt when I saw her….as if I recognize her from long ago….... (I would be honoured if you would read my writing “Medicine Woman” as you might see why I recognize this beautiful Elder with her basket that you have brought to us)

She is a Beauty. You captured not just this Native American woman – You captured her whole Life.
Stunning work, Wildwings!

This reminds me of early 20th century photos of Native peoples with a touch of colour. This combination works well to create a memorable image. I just can’t imagine doing this at my computer. Wonderful and . . . thanks for sharing.
Wildwings replied
When you use only the mouse as a paint brush , I can tell you that I need a huge dose of patience, but I love a challenge. This is all done on a blank “canvas” from beginning to end. I appreciate the generous copmment. Thank you.
Nelson Campbell
The depth of expression and expressiveness you’ve created in her face, along with the other details, is utterly stunning.

Thank you for the kind comment and favoriting.. It took hours and hours to complete. It’s frustrating when your mouse wants to go right and you want it to go left. ;)
