DEATH CHARGE
Death Charge was one of few images taken with my Nikon D100. The storm was around Jan 2006. I had run out of film and decided to try out the D100’s capabilities. I soon noticed that and shots exposed for longer than 5 seconds were developing extensive amounts of noise so I reduced the shutter time to 3 second intervals and managed to capture this beauty. Due to the CCD chip in the D100 its long time exposures are poor however I’m looking forward to the D300 which apparently has a CMOS chip and handles longer exposures.
The other photograph from this storm was Eligance.
DEATH CHARGE belongs to the following groups:

Weaponised??? What the hell does that Mean?? LOL
I have taken Lightning shots with my 400D with an exposure time of 4 minutes! With no noise, but then, I was using a CANON!
