Written for me, about me, by Bonnie Barry
My photograph of a young Robin….
Bonnie and I have had discussions about religion, and she is always very patient with me, and has made me feel a whole ton better about some past experience’s I have endured. I asked Bonnie if she would write something for this particular image, about how she sees Christ in me. I am happy to share this, and I am most thankful for Bonnie’s friendship.
This is going on my wall Bonnie, thank you again!

I may not be religious, but others say I am Christ-like.
I may not talk the religious talk, but others say I walk the Christian walk.
I admit I don’t know much about the heavenly Father, but others see His image in me.
I may not quote the sacred Scriptures, but I try to speak gentle words.
I may not be acquainted with theology, but I recognize love when I meet it . . .
In a tiny bird cupped in my hand, in the golden glow of sunset . . . In a kitten’s peaceful purr, in the majestic flight of the eagle . . .
In the pain-filled eyes of the lonely and in the misunderstood . . .
No, I may not be religious, but I am at peace because others see Christ in me.
