Seems to be a famous water hole for the cats in the neighborhood. Don’t their owners water them… sheeeesh. I love them, all the kitties.

No ice here…. she is drinking from our bird bath. She drank FOREVER, while I shot away with my camera.
She belongs to a neighbor. Shot in Northern California. =)

I shot a ton of shots of her, from inside my house, with my 500mm lens. It first started with her on our water-fountain (for our pool). Yes, she was drinking THAT water too… yuk. =)
My camera is set on continious shooting…. so I have plenty of shots of her to play with. hehehehe Soon I will post one of her on the fountain. Maybe I’ll do that today. =)

Hi Kimberly,
Continuous shooting is a very handy function isn’t it, particularly when you’re trying to catch an animal or something equally unpredictable. That’s sort of how I managed to capture my backyard kookaburra.
Nevertheless, it is a credit to your determination, patience and obvious forethought that you have shots to play with.

This is fabulous! I love the subtlety of the LucisArt. Gives it so much without being obvious. My cat has a bowl of water always and either drinks out of the toilet, tub, sink or outside. ick!! I don’t get it! LOL

I don’t think I ever see my kitty Mia drink from a bowl. She will sit on the edge of the tub, and WAIT for me to turn it on. Makes me wonder about this kitty here, drinking from our bird bath. Maybe the owner doesn’t water her. =)
