Hello, my name is David and I am a nature/wildlife/landscape photographer that has a special interest in raptors (birds of prey). Many of my images are of these magnificent creatures and most are photographed in the wild.
I don’t spend a lot of time in hides, but prefer to capture images whilst driving in a particular locale. Most of my images of birds are in flight.These are handheld as their spontaneity precludes the use of a tripod or monopod.
I am a Zoology graduate and teacher by trade and in conjunction with my field experience of observing animals in the wild,I feel I am lucky to have a profound insight into the natural world that I can share through my images.
I hope they help to foster an appreciation of all things wild and free.
