The Rescue

Rachael from the Wildlife Rescue and Protection (WRAP) sent us more shots of the actual rescues that went on. Some are alittle graphic with the roos and unfortunately for those poor animals they had to be put down.
She is gradually sending us photos of their hard work in saving the animals in their care, and as she does send them to us, we will post. These are random images she has sent us, in no particular order. We know its been over a month since this tradegy has happened in Victoria. Rachael and the others have been very very busy trying to find homes and suitable places for the surviving. She is sending photos as she can find the time.

Kudos to those who have gone out there to save these animals.

Oh my God,this is a painful and poigniant journal that should be on the Front Page of RB,them perhaps, people will realise that this huge effort is still saving lives every day.!
Come on Rb,just give us a couple of days on the Home page to emphasise the immense strugle that goes on for these poor Souls, and for the rescuers who have worked tirelessly for the Siilent Victims.
Great Journal that brings home the Tragedy ..thank God,we are not all ostriches who bury their heads in the sand..Painful Yes,but a necessity to SHOW this.
God Bless the Animals, Rescuers and the wildlife-appeal.

Wow, as I sit here looking at these little guys, it makes me sob. I am so, so empathetic to these poor animals. No living creature should have to suffer like they have. I applaud everyone who has been there helping to save them. I would be there as well (like someone above said) all the while my heart would be breaking. Poor little roos. :-(
