This is a closeup of a street in Pine Bluff, Ark USA. Its from the late 1800s or early 1900s. Its in really good shape still, considering they never intended for loaded 18 wheelers to drive over it!! It is a very large expanse of Acme bricks. I was impressed by its condition. Taken fall 2011 with a SanyoVPC-E2100.

brick, antique brick, acme brick, roadway, street, pavers, ground, urban, pine bluff ark usa, downtown

I’ve had a camera in my hand since the old Swinger Camera days (remember those?). EVERYWHERE I go, my cameras go. My friends and family gave up trying to separate us a long time ago….But I’m relatively new to digital photography. I keep saying “Where have you been all my life…?” There are so many beautiful images on Red Bubble. I’m SO inspired!

Interesting with the name stamped in – on would expect that to be on the ‘down’ side! But good (hard!) brick last forever, how they’re paved also makes a big difference! Love the color variations, indicating variations in clay composition as well as oven temperature.
