I was sticking my macro inside this Iris, totally violating the poor thing, and did NOT notice the wasp until later. On the computer. I’m deathly allergic to them. She was looking at me like “What the --?” Its IS a comical picture, in a way, her expression. (and they are ALL pregnant females when they come out of hibernation). I’m glad she didn’t go all hormonal on me!! Taken spring 2012 in Arkansas USA with a SanyoVPC-E2100.

I’ve had a camera in my hand since the old Swinger Camera days (remember those?). EVERYWHERE I go, my cameras go. My friends and family gave up trying to separate us a long time ago….But I’m relatively new to digital photography. I keep saying “Where have you been all my life…?” There are so many beautiful images on Red Bubble. I’m SO inspired!

What a great catch! Not something you see often. Well photographed.
