When I was a child, our Church held Easter Egg hunts. And I’ve always LOVED flowers. Well, it was always held in a large yard in town, that had Daffodils(Mom called them Jonquils). I was toddling around with by basket, ( I can still remember this) and I was picking DAFFODILS! Could care LESS about the pretty eggs laying around me. I KNEW about the egg concept, but was fascinated with the flowers. Mom noticed it, and came and dumped my flowers out and started putting eggs in my(by now) heavy basket, and I freaked. Sat down in the wet grass bawling and squalling in my new dress. She had to put the flowers BACK in!! So I went home with 3 lousy eggs, but 5 POUNDS of pretty flowers, that she put in my room. The yard owner just laughed…I don’t remember who ate the eggs, but I DO remember the flowers!! So when I see Daffodils, I remember that Easter egg hunt….I loved how this ONE stalk had three perfect flowers on it. This photo shot in eastern Arkansas USA this month with a SanyoVPC0E2100.
I’ve had a camera in my hand since the old Swinger Camera days (remember those?). EVERYWHERE I go, my cameras go. My friends and family gave up trying to separate us a long time ago….But I’m relatively new to digital photography. I keep saying “Where have you been all my life…?” There are so many beautiful images on Red Bubble. I’m SO inspired!
