This was the first Iris of the season for me. And as usual I pluck it and photograph it to death. This is actually 3 days after first picking it. I laid it in my blue floral gel balls (STILL love those!), and spotlighted it it in my studio. It was limp, and laid bare as if to say, “Oh, just kill me and get it over with!!” Still pretty, but on its way out. Poor thing….Shot this month with a SanyoVPC-E2100.

I’ve had a camera in my hand since the old Swinger Camera days (remember those?). EVERYWHERE I go, my cameras go. My friends and family gave up trying to separate us a long time ago….But I’m relatively new to digital photography. I keep saying “Where have you been all my life…?” There are so many beautiful images on Red Bubble. I’m SO inspired!
