This is a very large chunk of sandstone, 14" across at least, of fossils. I know if I break it apart, I’ll find a lot more, but I love my big solid chunk of stone. I’ll never damage it, this is as its been for eons. Shot this past summer with a SanyoVPC-E2100.

I’ve had a camera in my hand since the old Swinger Camera days (remember those?). EVERYWHERE I go, my cameras go. My friends and family gave up trying to separate us a long time ago….But I’m relatively new to digital photography. I keep saying “Where have you been all my life…?” There are so many beautiful images on Red Bubble. I’m SO inspired!

I do believe this is the first fossil image I have seen here on RB. Excellent close up, great color and detail.
