This is a mule that lives outside town, in a really cool old red barn. He’s really sweet. I took this image and created and dedicated a postcard for her, and wrote a nice thank you to her, for letting me spend time with him. She’s elderly, and so is the mule. She was thrilled! He would stand NEAR me, never intruding, he just wanted to be near me. It was touching, he was so gentle. Gladly, they’re both still living. Taken 2011 with a SanyoVPC-E2100.

I’ve had a camera in my hand since the old Swinger Camera days (remember those?). EVERYWHERE I go, my cameras go. My friends and family gave up trying to separate us a long time ago….But I’m relatively new to digital photography. I keep saying “Where have you been all my life…?” There are so many beautiful images on Red Bubble. I’m SO inspired!

Grew up with mules and my cousin now has a couple on the hill side pasture above my house. I have to take some images of them soon. They are going to use them to put on exhibitions using old time farm implements
