I don’t know the name or type of this mushroom. It was hiding under oak leaves, in eastern Arkansas(Stuttgart). Taken 11-24-11. I was looking for acorns and found a whole city of them, with lichen and moss. They are 1/2"high, and 1/2" across. So tiny I wasn’t even sure the camera could pick them up, even on macro. But it did!! I had to lay the camera on the ground, point and pray. … I just loved them. Taken with a Sanyo VPC-E2100. Ok, I believe this is a Fairies Umbrella.

mushroom, toadstool, tiny plants, wild plants, fungi, lichen, moss, nature

I’ve had a camera in my hand since the old Swinger Camera days (remember those?). EVERYWHERE I go, my cameras go. My friends and family gave up trying to separate us a long time ago….But I’m relatively new to digital photography. I keep saying “Where have you been all my life…?” There are so many beautiful images on Red Bubble. I’m SO inspired!
