This is dedicated to daughters everywhere. This is my dad’s vintage 1950s Bible, opened to Revelations 3:20. “Behold I stand at the door and knock.” There is even a Check Mark that he put there in the 1960s. There’s a small vintage 1960s picture my Grandmother owned, in a plastic frame, showing that scene. The Bible is a treasured item, something he gave me before he died. It is well worn, and I remember it fondly from my childhood, watching him expertly thumb through it at Church, usually finding the passage the preacher called for before anyone else did. And the cross is from the 1960s, and belonged to my aunt. The new ceramic sculpture is new, and something I found. So, there’s three generations of “Behold” items here. Taken with a SanyoVPC-E2100.
