Beautiful Bill,……They had some chrome back then,……Style,…class,…..Just beautiful cars,…..They really were,….

  • Thank you very much John! I have been seeing this car at local shows for 5 years now…it always impresses me! The story around town is this was once owned by Roy Orbison. The owner says he can’t confirm that though.

Looks like it my still have a straight 8 in it. Beautiful sky added to make this all the better.

  • Thank you Paul! It’s a real beauty, just slightly lowered with chrome wires and wide whites.

Billy-Blu! Axle Draggers tried to recruit me back when I had a gig out in la but they wasn’t sophisticated enough for ol’what’shername. Aww – I know – sad – - – but we was just there for the gig and then back home b/4 finally settling on where it is we haunts now – - – but I digress me bro – buicks were so fine back in the day – I remember constantly being disappointed with them with each new model once they left their film-noir-look behind. And they wonder why they don’t sell ’em so much any more ( I will not go into the socio-political aspects of their fall – Ha!) Anyway Billy – nice pix bro ~:0) VivaChas!

  • Axle Draggers are nationwide…perhaps the local chapter has more what’shername-friendly members! You should really look into that…Thanks Chas!
