I am Mum to 2 kids aged 29 and 11 years I work part time, have loved photography ever since my ex boyfriend’s sister gave me a camera as a leaving present when I emigrated to South Africa at the age of 14 1/2years. I took photos all the time but it was mainly family, my big regret was that I didn’t pay more attention to the scenery and fauna while I lived in Johannesburg. I have very few photos of the landscape.While I had my family I took plenty of photos of my kids. I have taken my photography more seriously in the last year and these days I love macro work, mainly bugs and flowers and through a friend I have been inspired to get out of my pit early and go catch some beautiful sunrises. I hope you enjoy browsing my photos and I look forward to browsing everyone elses.Almost forgot, I am using a Canon Powershot A700, no extras or tripod, just me and my camera. Since November 2007 I have upgraded my camera and I am also using a Canon Powershot S5 IS…. which is proving to be just as fantastic as the A700
