Because of copyrights it is not possible to show an image with the use / deformation of the olympic rings in order to expose ideas about the Chinese politics. This limit however has helped to come up with this idea.

The shirt could be usefull as a sport outfit in prisons as well…

Other publicity / campaigns / contributions about the Beijing Olympics you can find here collected by a Dutchman in the advertisement world and here collected by Redbubble member Robinson.

In my zazzle shop you can find the same design showed on different models, colours and the backside printed with logo and instruction. Plus they print larger and their quality of printing is very good!

And some others…

Excellent work, Ronald. You might consider this work as a broader indictment of the very corrupt politics connected to the Olympic games, not just the games in China.

  • Thanks for your comment! Indeed, it can be used for all the olympics and what happens / might happen in the background…

Let’s hope it does, as it seems as if China isn’t really listening at the moment :(

  • No indeed, but other countries/governments do!

Funning idea and great works! If I have USD, I will buy one absolutely.

But…I just suggest your guys do not bring it to Beijing, otherwise maybe you will set yourself in troubles. :)

BTW, Ronald, I don’t like your attitude about Tibet . The Tibet people are all Chinese, let’s Chinese guys settle it down. We need time, patience, democracy, but not a statue of freedom.

  • Dear Glen, thanks for your reaction and comment. About Tibet: of course we wish that the Chinese people themselves will be able to solve the problems, the statue of freedom is just used as a symbol, not as a real wish to do it that way. With all kind of publicity from outside we hope that goals will be achieved within a reasonable timeframe!
