The bitterly cold strong wind was blowing slightly off shore when I took this photograph at dawn in April 2012. This made the sea surprisingly calm.
Beachy Head is a 530 feet high ( 162 metres ) chalk cliff which often protects the seaside town of Eastbourne, Sussex, England from the prevailing winds.
The lighthouse was built in 1902 and is 43 metres high.
Taken on my Canon Powershot SX30 compact camera

Above is how the photograph would look as a Framed Print
