The composition and lighting in this image are just beautiful and I love the juxtaposition of the formal classical architecture with the bare ground. Wonderful image.

Ooohhh, I really like this one – the repetitive curves, the cross at the end, the dirt floor – even the colouring is great. Oh yeah, lets not forget the light coming through the windows.

Thanks for the comments everyone. This was a long-ish exposure, about 8 seconds – in all the other exposures of this I was wandering around in a pseudo ghostlike fashion (camera was tripod mounted), but they didnt come out. Other tourists wandering past did give me some strange looks :-)

this is truly out there!!! the crucifix at the end of the arched oopen window…the raw dust and the perfection in the architecture…a blend of so many textures, sensations and thoughts. Really earthy yet surreal at the same time. wonderful!
