This is the Painting within Painting of the I am Dragonfly…....the night version of the image …...... as it appears when the lights are off. I love to paint with light…..i do wonder how many people have to paint with the lightswitch close by so they can SEE what they are doing in the dark….
I am not really tapping out code with the light…... but in order to see it must be dark it is a paradox that fascinates me.
The dragonfly is a wonderful creature to observe….

I love this Wendy especially as I love dragonflies, it reminds me of how the visitor to my garden glowed and looked so unreal that I nearly touched it.
It gave me a scare when it flew of lol

My favorite insect, a beautiful and ancient creature. Fossil dragonflies from the Carboniferous Era (360 to 300 million years ago) have wingspans of nearly a meter. Imagine that!
