Tasted the oil that is still on the barrel. But do I have the courage to pull the trigger. Or would that be taking the easy way out?
When all hopes and dreams are dashed, before they even have a chance to flurish. Is life worth hanging on to? My heart has been trodden on once to often. My lips have tasted the salt in my tears. Do I have to keep on tasting them, or should I give in to another dream? This one I know can be fulfilled with one shot. A shot that would remove the pain. Take away any unatainable longing that I may have in the future. Remove the hurt from memories that haunt my mind. With this done, may be the world would be better off. One less sad soul to walk upon its soil. People could then continue on with there lives. No longer having to listen to the ramblings and whines from one such as I. Then at least, they could say, “he has finaly done some thing with his life”. I would not be here to hear them say it, but I would know that it was true. I would have completed something that I set out to do. Finaly fulfilling a dream, and finding peace in my life.
