Artist's Description

Another forgotten hero from Canadian comics of the 1940’s. Zor was basically a copy of Ka-zar (Marvel Comics). Like Ka-zar he also had a sabre-tooth tiger as a companion. Except that Zor’s was depicted as an actual tiger.
He only appeared in about three stories as far as I have been able to find out.
He is also called The Paleolithic Man and seems to exist in a past that is filled with advanced ancient cities and monster ape-men. He is joined by time travellers from the modern era (1940’s) and he seems to travel back and forth from the past to the present with no problem.
In the ancient past the love of his life is killed and he seems to stay there. that i believe was the last Zor story.
It was reprinted in the 1960’s by American comic book company Super Comics (Fantastic Adventures #12
Zor was created by E.G. Letkeman.
