Another example of your fine work John. I love the sad story it tells – with the pilot slumped over dead with the bullet holes going through and the propellers no longer turning the mission failed so close to its target. Im assuming those are the cliff of Dover?
John Harding replied
hey awesome comment Joe, that’s exactly what I wanted to portray here, jeez, you see everything :) Yeah that’s the white cliffs of dover or at least my rendition of them lol
Joseph Colella
Im a fan John, I can only see what you portray. Your rendition was spot on.
John Harding replied
many thanks Joe

Like all your work John this is beautifully drawn.. Stunning image which portrays one of the most important times in British histroy.. Fantastic
John Harding replied
hey thanks Rob, I tried to make a combat scene that wasn’t to cheesie but reflected the desperation of a time long gone.
Glad you liked it.

I only do “battle scenes” on request!
Cheers Neil
John Harding replied
thanks Woodie, don’t you like creating a battle scene?
Edzie
Excellent John. Love the damage and the smoke belching from the bullet holes in the engine cowel. Pilot slumped in the cockpit, momments from his final resting place. A sad finality.
John Harding replied
Thanks Eddy, yeah, for many this was a pilots fait…................
Woodie
Hi John,
I love creating battle scenes from first hand (battle) reports but I like to see my work hanging on the living room wall and not offending others. See my F/O Doe and Richard Hillary’s spits being shot down.
Cheers Neil
John Harding replied
Oh I see
