MOON

Moon

In the moonlight
It’s so icy
No-one to hold tight
Or maybe I might
No-one can tell me
If it’s wrong or right

The energy
Of him standing near
It doesn’t matter what I thought
My heart drawn
Not bought

In the moonlight
I see a face below
No-one in particular
Yet not a shadow

Was it a sign?
In the moonlight?
No-one can tell me
If it’s wrong or right

Is there a block?
A wall?
A strand of hair?

A feeling I have for someone
Who is no longer there?

Maybe it’s one of these
Maybe I’ll fall
My heart is breaking slow

That’s all.
