Fascinating excerpt! Taken on its own this portrays to me a feeling of introspection, emergence from a great sadness and a muzzling of the (albeit gentle) animal emotions. I don’t get this feeling looking at the whole meditation picture. The colours are beautiful and you have an undoubted skill with watercolour.

thankyou, your words are greatly appreciated as the emotional aspect of this piece conveys a truth of when this was painted… I was experiencing deep loss & sorrow, but wanting the world only to see the bright colours, not necessarily what was inside. Thankyou for seeing my truth, it’s a compliment that I didnt have to say anything and you saw my emotions :)
