Thanks Nancy, I really both too for varying reasons. Briefly, I was told that years ago photographers only had a single shot at something like this and didn’t have motordrives which generate a better chance at a better image. Whilst I don’t have any reservations with other people using them I prefer to fire single shots only when the right shot presents itself – so I like the raw image for the zen and the cropped for the esthetics. Thanks again for commenting I appreciate it.

Thanks Brendan, this was a sunrise shot and it was cold but lovely. I think the concept of freedom that even city people get looking at people riding horses on a beach can be quite powerful – it should serve to remind us to enjoy nature I think.

Thanks for that, I was lucky to get this shot. The girl had started to ride off the beach when I ran up and asked if she would just do a bit more up our end of the beach. The lucky part was the lack of a fatal heart attack on my part.
