Adorable! Great black and white! And I think your right about recharging…. I have 4 that have way too much energy!!

My wife and I have 3 boys and they are a handful as you are aware. I guess thats why I love seeing them sleep. Funny though, all the trials, cleaning up of errant bodily fluids, late nights and general effort are so easily and wonderfully rewarded by a hug and a smile.

Wow, the light is great, as well as the focus is.
You can perceive that sensation of calm from here.

Thanks Una, I have 2 cameras, I bought a Canon 30D and a good friend who was sick of lugging his 1DmkII permanently loaned me his gear (I feel like I’ve won lotto there!) with lenses (I don’t want to sound like a prat – I am genuinely grateful to him). I don’t remember which camera I used here. I will look it up and get back to you.

My favourite of yours (although a close tie with “chillin”). The framing, light, depth of field (and subject!) are perfect. Maybe a tiny bit more contrast would be the cherry on the cake :)

Thanks for that, I will try. Unfortunately all my stuff is on a laptop and just a tiny movement of the head changes the properties of my shots. I am saving up to get an Apple computer so I can have a bit more control and better viewing.
