Human Symmetry

I am what it is to be the perfect person
As you are what it is to be the same
Though we share little similarities
We share our efforts in pursuing our differences
Though we do not fight the same battles
We battle the same magnitudes
Though our beliefs bear different faces
Our morals share the same consequences
We are no greater than the thoughts validated by our actions
And no better than our primitive judgements

This is wonderful. I’m not sure of the context it what written for … but to me it fits so many possible situations … two people, two sides going to war (that shouldn’t if both sides could just read and accept your piece!), acceptance of different beliefs – religious or otherwise. In your talk of symmetry you highlight, for me, unity. We all have so many things in common but we can often get so wrapped up in our differences and what is ‘right’. Brilliant work!

  • Thank you so much! :)
You pin pointed the meaning :)
