What an impressive but terrifying image!
Nice shot! but damn those teens!!great work
awesome capture it’s a shame to lose such beautiful old buildings to vandals
now that is some good work,… if the opportunity is there then take it.. and you have done here. I’m amazed the Fire Dept allowed you to get so close as the fire is huge and the building about to collapse.. you must have used a pretty decent zoom..
Simon, I was pretty close at the beginning. I have shots from when the smoke just started peeking out of the front tower. I actually stepped back before the Fire Department made us. I thought my camera was going to melt from the intense heat. When I took this shot, I was still pretty close, but I was using my 75-300mm. I like nice tight shots.

Wow… talking about being at the right place at the right time… great shot!
Hey Mike, Great looking portfolio. Love this shot, sad as it is. Did they catch those jokers?
Thanks Johnathan! Yeah, but I don’t think they are trialing them as adults……
Such a shame to have something like that burn down because of stupidity…
However, you captured it very well!
very flammable roof!nice work
Oh what a sad sight…
