Just married Simon Aberlé. Sigh
so I’m possibly the happiest girl alive! :)

I love light… But then thats what ‘Claire’ means.

A 30-something mother of one, I have exhibited locally, sold a few, and have work for sale in various drinking/eating establishments. I am also proud to say I have had work stolen twice….I consider this an enormous compliment! (And fortuitous, in insurance terms.)

I would love to sculpt, I would love to study, but as I begin a new life I am content just to see where it takes me. With my love by my side, and our talents egging each other in to new areas, we shall see what comes….

If you like it: comment on it, add it, or very best of all, buy it. I will be thrilled and enchanted to know that something I consider beautiful is moving someone else too.

Thanks for visiting!

(Might I add that my Uncles, Joe and Mike Glaysher, have some wonderful work on here. – Free plug!)

Delusions

So I love him and he loves me / It all progresses naturally / Excepting that he’s not, as such, / Yet realised he loves me much… / But I’m as sure as sure can be / That he’ll …

Desperate

If I could but fly like a bird to your side, / Be it known: I would spread my wings through storms and night. / Right now, without backward glance.

As yet unknown

Have you met my true love / With his twinkly, smiling eyes? / The windows to a gentle soul / In need of no disguise Have you met my true love? / He’s the smartest man I’ve known / The only one …

Unstarted

You are my star of Bethlehem / You are my perfect dawn

A poem by my daddy

I had a blue-eyed baby girl / her hair like yellow flax / scented with the unique aroma / of the cradle / At first she’d lie recumbent in my arms / those aching arms that gladly would / have bo…

Daydreams

And so I sit and think of you / Though neither sight nor sound reminds, / My mailbox stubborn to divest / Itself of word or news / What kind of heart is this, which sits alone / And wonders at the sta…
