I like how you’ve positioned him not quite centered, Also the colours are spot on, the bird being colourful against the branches and back ground. Really makes it stand out.

  • thanks angela. i appreciate you commenting. robins (i find) are so difficult to photograph. x

Such a sweet robin, and a beautiful shot, Sally…..It amazes me how such tiny scraps of life manage to get through the freezing temp’s of winter!

  • thanks victoria. yes, it amazes me too!! thats why i will always feed them all year round. i have a big feeding station with lots on, my son says i spend more on bird food than his food! LOL. (not true by a long shot!!) x

Hi again Sally….your comment about your son gave me a giggle. My mother and I used to have a running joke about people who said, “but I eat like a bird”….we’d heard that birds eat their body weight in food every day! That may be an urban myth…but we used to laugh lots anyway! V.

  • ha ha ah….. yes, i think the myth is true victoria, but only for teenage boys!! xx
