    Wonderful colours and good sharp drops. I’m intrigued by the hard edge to the colour at top left – it doesn’t detract from the image, and in fact balances the black at bottom right, but was it intentional or did it come about by chance?

    I usually do this sort of shot in a darkened room to avoid unwanted reflections. However, in this case I think the reflections of the windows in the drops add depth to the image.

    hi. thanks for such a nice comment. the drop was just ‘accidental’. i took these series of photos all hand-held, balanced in the edge of a windowsill (the cd, not me!!) just zoomed in, and held my breath and clicked the shutter!! LOL. x
