Just letting you guys know,
If you are thinking of purchasing studio flash heads to add to your kit, DO NOT purchase lighting manufactured by Interfit!!! (What a waste of money) I was going to take these lights and toss them as far as I could throw them down at my local junk yard but instead, I have decided to keep them as a reminder to me, of the most wasteful purchase I have ever made in my life.
I am on my third set of replacement lights from the retailer (whom I will not mention because it is not their fault) and still a have a set of lights that cost me nearly $1500.00 that do not work. The first set started smoking shortly after I plugged them in. The next set didn’t fire when I used them in cell mode, and did not fire at all with the modeling light switched on. And the set I have now continuously circulates at full power and fires at f16 even with the power set at it’s minimum. What a lot of garbage these flash heads are. The manufacturers have a lot to answer for in my opinion.
Thank you for letting me blow off some steam. Please, if you are reading this, I urge you to take this into consideration if you are intending to purchase this brand of lighting.

Lol, I don’t think I am game enough to purchase another set. I think I will go for red heads next or something along those lines. If anyone would like to comment with their experience in studio lighting please do so. Perhaps we could all learn something and not make so many mistakes!!!!

Thanks for letting us know Karl. Those cheap lights I bought have worked great for me. I blew a fuse after taking 350 photos in one session then the next session I fell over the light and broke the globe but it works perfectly well now. I did purchase a 400w one recently to add a bit more light. I hope you finally get some lights that work. I’ll email you with the lights and where they are available

Studio Works I know someone whom has purchased from these guys and their lights are excellent… iI have used them myself too!
Lots of fun and a new learning curve too, LOL!

thanks Karl,,although I dont use any lighting stuff but I know its expensive..hope it works out for ya! wow that could be a fire hazard!
