His name is Rub because when he was born he fell into a trough of icy water and had to be rubbed for hours to warm him up to keep him alive. He’s more like a puppy than a horse! . . . Shot taken at the Ranch on January 13, 2008 . . .

You’ve got such wonderful colors, cool and warm in here. The shadows matching the bright blue of the tank or machine in the back, and Rub his own fine self, has got more character in one whisker than ordinarily seen in an entire herd.
