Relaxing in the afternoon sun at Fortuna
An idle moment … an instant in time. This image is a preliminary drawing of a watercolour (under construction). Poor qualty image (I’m going to have to learn how to improve my image capture process).

This is amazing Pat…if I hadn’t seen you in action with pencil in hand, I’d hardly believe it was a drawing…brilliant! Now that’s talent!

Thanks, D :) But I do want to break out of photorealism at some stage. Just ….can’t … quite… do…it…just…. yet…
If you are based in photorealism, it is soooo hard to let that pencil/brush/crayon stray from the one true line. But I’m trying.

Yep. Came out of happenstance. I needed to take photos of staff for some passes, and whilst one staff member was waiting for me, she started to read a book in the seat by the bay windows. As a ray of light shone in onto the book, I looked around, and there it was … fully formed.

It’s an excellent drawing! If you do photography – that will help with recording your work for redbubble and other places.
