Thanks. The Herald Sun photographer (one meter to my left) did capture that. It was published in the Herald Sun (albeit in B&W and a small format) the next day.

Catching just the right action shot is a matter of luck. But you need to have the right camera settings and have the camera constantly pointed at the action in order to increase the chances.

I’ve been shooting netball for a number of years now, and can count the number of really good shot on one hand.
