Woodblock print (Artist’s Proof).
January 2008

This is the full version of the print, which I also intend breaking down into variations of smaller images.

I simply enjoy the challenges of drawing, painting, printmaking and photography. My inspiration is derived from many different sources, but mostly all from places, events and emotions I have actually experienced, and from my family and other people I have met and loved.

Wow. This is fantastic, Whirtenaciousligig. I am just amazed that you can create such a tender and subtle scene with a tenacious as wood. You really master this technique very well. I love the composition and the birds are so beautiful. Great idea to do it in black and white.

What a great feeling it is to see all these kind and encouraging words about this print.

Thank you all heaps for taking the time to look at it and to leave your comments. It all serves to drive me further, to work harder at my art. I am often so tired by the time I get home in the evenings, that I find it difficult to conjure up enough incentive and energy to do anything creative. So all your feedback is very much appreciated.
