Great variation. The colour you chose really expresses the warmth of the African landscape. In this variation my mind gets more focussed on the beautiful lines and rhythms this image is made of. Like Hugo said, lovely minimal.

Thanks so much for this critique, FlyBoy – it’s all so valuable to me to know how others perceive these images. I was wondering if this is a bit too bold, but then that is the nature of the feeling of Africa for me. Africa holds an intenseness which is hard to express – a vibrant and dramatic place. Your feedback is really helpful and confirms what I am attempting with the colour and simple lines.

Love the orange! Also love the tension between the two zebras – one so alert and the other relaxed and drinking.
