    Wonderful image! It’s a really interesting way to show the loss, like she’s now fading away from where she always used to be. The background textures feel like more faces of those gone before, blurred and faded, but still there watching.

    Lovely creation Whirligig, I can always have memories of those who cared for me and who I still care, but when they are no longer physically with us I believe they can still be as close as your picture suggests.
