Hippo
Beautiful. I love the painted feel to it.
Anne van Alkemade
I think I like this one even more than the last. I think the worked up sundrews fit in to the surrounds much better (although it was an interesting effect in the other). Good work Whirli.

Hi Hippo and Anne – thank you both for your input and helpful comments.

Hi Whirligig, This work reminds me a bit of a Van Gough style of painting. I like the effects on the flowers, almost like a sketch with a water colour apearence. Nice.
Elaine van Dyk
Thank you tommyart47! Lovely comment, and lovely compliment that it reminds you of a Van Gough style of painting. Van Gough is one of my heroes!

Great Image Whirl! Love this. M:>

I like many of the works here. This one particularly. I wonder if it’s the van Gogh connection. (Thank you for the comments re my response to your picture.)
Elaine van Dyk
Thank you Ozcloggie. I love van Gogh’s work, so I’ll take that as a very big compliment. Mind you, I wonder what van Gogh would have done with a computer? The mind boggles! I’ve now added you to the list in the journal entry so that others can see your story easily if they read that journal.
